That's right, the folks over at The Awl peeped the pricey top among the racks of luxury goods at the New York boutique. And while we know the French fashion house as the brand behind the oh-so-coveted Birkin bag, just what exactly makes the T-shirt so astronomically expensive?
As you might have guessed, this isn't a regular ol' cotton tee. Instead, the crewneck top, which is part of Hermès' spring 2013 menswear collection is stitched together from ultra-expensive crocodile leather. While it's definitely on trend for the season, we're pretty sure you can find a more affordable take on the style.
